It's a pretty durable one-person tent on a cot. It takes a special size mattress, tho, so if you need to order a new one for whatever reason, measure it first, it's about half the width of a twin. It's a bit of a pain to set up at first, too, might wanna look at the directions. And it is heavy, but I guess that's what helps it be durable. It will keep you off the ground, if you get caught in a rain storm, and with some extra tie downs, tied to trees, not just pegs, it held up well in 50 mile an hour winds.
I used the item the very next day of arrival. I am elated with the ease of the set-up. It rained the night it was used. I did stay dry but, condensation did accumulate in the tent. I will buy the water shield to protect. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.
I absolutely adore this tent for my little solo adventures. It's so cozy and just the right size for me. I do add a twin memory foam pad as well due to my poor back, making it even cozier and it supports it all perfectly well!
Not the tents fault but remember the tent dew
Why did you pick this product vs others?:
I already own their double cot tent bed & ordered this one for when it is just me & the dogs camping. Used it this past week & sets up easy, comfortable. I have had my other one over a year & holds up well. I do recommend you spray them with scotch guard if using them in foggy or rainy areas. If you have any mobility issues this is the tent for you. So easy to get up from, no more struggling to get off the ground.
I really like this tent , but I love the cot even more . For the price , you can't beat it . It comes with a decent blow up mattress and pillow , and the sleeping bag is also nice . I have 2 complaints well 3 really . I wish the doors had small windows , I wish the top vents had little pop out tabs so they stay open and I wish the tent came with guy lines to tie down on windy days. Wind is your worst enemy with this tent . So I recommend getting some para cord and figuring out a way to tie this down , maybe even a bushcraft tarp would help with that as a kind of rain fly . Now my biggest complaint is the bag is cheap, I was putting the tent away , sleeping bag and matress ( I left the cot out to use ) the bag wasn't full or stuffed and I was zipping normally , but the zipper stitching ripped a few inches with ease . For the money , it's a very decent tent and cot . Oh and the foot pump airs the mattress up pretty fast , I like the pump .
